Eamon P. Kelly​

Mr. Kelly is a litigator. He represents plaintiffs and defendants in a broad range of matters, including trade secret, investor, partner, patent, antitrust, and customer-contract disputes.

Antitrust enforcement is a focus of Mr. Kelly’s practice. Mr. Kelly represents plaintiffs in antitrust actions in the pharmaceutical and mobile application development industries, including the following pending matters:

Among these matters, Mr. Kelly serves by appointment on the interim executive committee for the end-payor class plaintiffs in Staley v. Gilead Sciences and with his firm Sperling & Slater was appointed to plaintiffs’ executive committee in the Cameron v. Apple Litigation.

In addition, Mr. Kelly frequently represents policyholders in disputes with insurance companies. He has taught, lectured, and written on insurance coverage matters.

Mr. Kelly is an active civic and bar leader. He is the elected Democratic Committeeman for Evanston, Illinois. In this role, Mr. Kelly serves on the judicial slating committees for the Democratic Party of Cook County. He previously served as Chief of Staff for the Illinois State Board of Education, as Special Assistant to the Deputy Governor of Illinois and as Vice-Chair of Illinois State Treasurer Michael Frerichs’ transition team.

Mr. Kelly is a fellow of the American Bar Foundation.  He previously served on the board of the Chicago Bar Foundation, and as the President of the Chicago Bar Foundation’s Young Professionals Board.
