Mr. Macknin joined Sperling & Slater in 1980. His practice is focused on complex business disputes, covering virtually every aspect of the commercial world: antitrust, appraisal rights, bankruptcy, class actions, contracts, corporate finance, D&O litigation, employment law, enterprise valuations, executive compensation, franchise, fraudulent transfers, injunctions, insurance coverage, intellectual property, landlord-tenant, opt outs, partnerships, professional sports, rate court, real estate, SEC investigations, securities, stock conversions, tax increment financing (TIF), television broadcasting, tender offers and zoning. He has represented plaintiffs and defendants throughout the country in state and federal courts, regulatory agencies,
